Join Trellis and the Federation of City Farms & Community Gardens at the Ecology Centre, meet others interested in therapeutic  and community gardening to share insights, skills and good practice:
  • Garden tour of the Ecology Centre Garden - see the Vegetable Snake!
  • Stalls - Keep Scotland Beautiful; RCHS Grow & Learn Awards
  • Your questions answered (group discussion and networking)
This event is suitable for anyone wishing to /already supporting people to garden in community, education and health settings.

*The Trellis AGM is to be held at 15:30 (duration approx. 30 mins). Paying members of Trellis have voting rights at the AGM. If you are interested in the work of the Trellis board, please come along and meet us.

Join Trellis at the vibrant Girvan Community Garden for a day of sharing good practice in gardening with children & young people:   
•    Practical Workshops: Bushcraft Skills - including Fire making & cooking;
Gardening activities - engaging children & young people
•    Garden Tour
Meet others interested in gardening to share insights, skills and good practice through discussion, workshops, networking and a garden tour. This event is suitable for anyone wishing to /already supporting children and young people to garden in community, education and health settings.

FREE Event    Lunch available £5 (book now pay on day) or bring a packed lunch

Join FCFCG and Trellis to network, learn and share best practice with others involved in community and therapeutic growing across Grampian and Highland.  A morning of discussion, networking with other projects and an introduction to the work of Grow Elgin.  Networking lunch- bring information about your project to share in a lunchtime marketplace. An afternoon of workshops and sharing good practice.
Workshops (to be confirmed):
    Walking tour and seed saving at Cooper Park.
    Risk Assessment made easy with Trellis
    An Introduction to The Growing Award
    Good practice volunteer management in your setting
Refreshments and a light vegetarian lunch will be provided 
Please book your lunch by emailing stating any dietary requirements and pay £5 on the day.
You are welcome to bring sandwiches too!
Dress in suitable warm clothing and outdoor shoes.
