Join us at Ninewells Community Garden, learn and practice with Alison Butler who has past experience in developing gardens with those recovering from alcohol & drug dependency and also in community gardens. Ali currently works at PLANT Tayport Community Garden.
 
This training session is useful for anyone gardening in a group environment, or managing group gardening. All welcome at this informal, theory and practical session:  
•    Gain an understanding of health and safety issues in a gardening context
•    How to go about risk assessment (incl. forms and practical considerations)
•    Safe tool use
Time for discussion and questions during the session, risk assessment templates and notes to take away.

Cost
£40 for paying members of Trellis
£50 for projects/individuals in the Trellis network
