“I was so excited to receive the prize lawnmower this afternoon.”
It’s not every day someone feels joy at the thought of mowing the lawn. But that was exactly the scene earlier this week in a village near Edinburgh when one lucky gardener, Jenny, opened the door to receive her brand new Flymo Speedi-Mo lawnmower.
“It will be a very worthy replacement for my battered old one and has come at just the right time, now the grass is growing fast. I love the long flex and the way the handle folds down so neatly. In spite of being a substantial workhorse, it is nice and easy to stow away and not too heavy. Thank you very much for such a generous raffle prize.”
In Spring this year, Flymo and McCulloch offered us a very exciting donation to celebrate National Gardening Week. We decided to offer the electric rotary mower as a raffle prize at our Gardening Scotland stall. The funds raised from the raffle will go directly into running our support services to help therapeutic gardening projects, and meanwhile, Jenny, a very keen gardener, can enjoy keeping the lawn in good shape with her new mower.
