Seminar Series 2021 – Healing Garden at an orphanage in Lima

Daniela is going to let us know all about how she founded the Peruvian Social & Horticultural Therapy Association.  In April 2019 we implemented a Healing Garden at an orphanage in Lima, Peru and in May 2 the horticultural therapy program began by serving children (boys and girls) ages 6 to 12.  Most of the children we work with are victims of abuse or neglect, and some have cognitive problems. 

Daniel's presentation will focus on the strategies and techniques used with this population group.
