Following completion of Horticulture Diploma at Auchincruive, Peter became a Horticultural Therapy volunteer at Cyrenian Farm, Edinburgh. This led to getting a post working within the Occupational Therapy Department at Gartnavel Royal Hospital, Glasgow using gardening as a therapeutic tool for clients with mental illness.
For the last 23 years Peter had the pleasure of developing the Fife Mental Health Occupational Therapy Horticultural Therapy Service based out of Stratheden Hospital, near Cupar working with a wide demographic of clients on their road to recovery from mental illness.
Outwith work busy being taxi driver to growing up family.
