Trellis Networking Seminar: Dunfermline
The Glasshouses are suituated within Pittencrieff Park (near Pittencreiff House) and are accessed on foot. The formal entrance to the park is through the Louise Carnegie Gates at the bottom of the High Street (Bridge Street). The entrance on Pittencrieff Street has the main car park.Other entrances are from Nethertown Broad Street and St Catherine’s Wynd. There are also additional entrances from Moodie Street and St Margaret’s Street which lead to the scenic walk along the Tower Burn in the lowest part of the Park.
Coming by car Free parking is available in the park’s main car park at the Pittencrieff Street entrance, 128 Pittencrieff St, Dunfermline KY12 8AN. Limited parking is also available inside the park both behind and to the west of the Glen Pavilion. Use the post code KY12 8QH for directions.
Disabled parking is available in the car park behind the Glen Pavilion.
No unauthorised vehicles are permitted to drive within the main park.
There is also street parking and public car parks in central Dunfermline near the Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries.
Coming by bicycle Bikes are welcome to use the paths and trails throughout the park. Please note, there is no designated bike parking available inside the park.
Coming by bus There are regular public bus services operated by Stagecoach in Fife that stop on Moodie Street and Pittencrieff Street. Visit their website to plan your journey. Dunfermline’s bus station, situated on Queen Anne Street, is only a 5-minute walk from the Louise Carnegie entrance.
Coming by train The nearest rail station is Dunfermline Town, which is only half a mile away and is a ten-minute walk to the park’s Nethertown Broad Street entrance.

Trellis invites you to join Pittencrieff Park staff and The Friends of Pittencrieff Park as featured on BBC Scotland's Beechgrove Garden for a garden tour, talks and sharing experiences of how park gardens are supporting wellbeing in communities.
If you are involved in running a 'gardening for wellbeing group' or starting out on that journey, come meet others in the 'gardening for wellbeing' community, share in good practice and make connections.
